Having Fun While Staying Safe

For questions and inquiries

The past several months have been extremely difficult for everyone. As a small, seasonal business we are so pleased to be open, in a safe manner. Speaking of safety, we have quite a few new procedures and policies in place to keep you, us, and our staff safe this summer. We want you to feel safe, and informed, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have!

General Policies
  • Please wear a mask at all times other than in the privacy of your own accommodation with the door closed. We feel this is important to keep everyone comfortable. Exceptions can be made while you are eating or while you are outdoors and no one is within six feet of you.

  • We will contact you prior to the day of check in to ensure you and your party are feeling well, and when you plan to arrive. If we know when to expect you we will be prepared to meet you outside the office.

  • While providing a clean environment has always been a #1 priority to us, with COVID we will be doing additional cleanings and allowing for our employees to practice social distancing. We will follow all guidelines suggested by the CDC, OSHA, and the State of Rhode Island.

  • In the past, we always had a number you could text or call with any questions, needs, or concerns, but also staff in- office. This year we ask that you text us, rather than popping down to our office.

  • This year we will be going further to ensure every room, apartment, and home are disinfected thoroughly before each guest stays. During your stay, we will not enter your room, apartment, or home unless requested for housekeeping. Turndown service will not be available. We will offer fresh towels, linens, soaps, shampoo, etc. If you have any specific questions about our cleaning procedures feel free to ask!

Foodie Fun

One of the most difficult things for us to navigate is how to offer our famous breakfast and afternoon treats! Unfortunately, there is nowhere in any of the State or CDC requirements that would allow a buffet. Water and coffee stations are also off-limits for this summer.

  • In an effort to minimize contact this summer we will not have access to our breakfast nook refrigerator and stove.

  • Our fresh baked breakfast will be done very differently, but we are thinking there will be some very positive outcomes to this~ think breakfast in bed or overlooking the ocean on our verandah or a picnic in the yard amongst the gardens.

  • Will ‘things’ be open?

We expect the majority if not all restaurants on the- island to be open following state guidelines, bike rentals, groceries, and shops plan to as well! It will definitely be a different procedure, but our island is full of small family-owned businesses working along state guidelines to prepare for your arrival, and ensure your safety while on- island.
