Boating, fishing, and kayaking are all just a few minutes walk from our inn, while our grounds are one of the best places on the island to just relax in our Adirondack chairs, to grill up lunch and enjoy it looking over the ocean on either one of our wraparound porches, or on the picnic tables. The Bellevue House is only a short walk to town, where you will find the shops, restaurants, movie theatre, beach, as well as the best island nightlife. There is so much to do and see, throughout the summer months, from shopping, hiking, sailing, boating, parasailing, lighthouse tours, cruises and fishing charters that The Bellevue House offers a great central location for couples, and families alike.

The Bellevue offers accommodations May through October. The Ferry landings to the island are only a 2 hour drive from Boston and New York City, 45 minutes from Providence and Hartford. Once on the island our B&B is conveniently located by both car and foot.

Enjoy the casual elegance of our beautifully restored turn-of-the-century inn nestled on Block Island's rolling hills. Enjoy magnificent water and nautical views from our wicker seating, and rocking chairs on one of the inn's two wrap-around porches, or from an Adirondack chair on our lawn!

Each guest room has its own unique decor with special amenities such as kitchenettes, and sleigh beds. Each apartment of cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a relaxing living area.

All in-season room rates include our continental breakfast (apartments and cottages may add this on for a small fee) offered each morning in our breakfast nook.
